I have two great boys already but truly feel my family is not yet complete. Severe anxiety and depression require me to stay on medications. And my conditions have worsened with each pregnacy. I have gotten get off meds in order to try for # 3 with terrible results. I know my sister would gladly be a surragte for me. But will insurance pay for IVF even if I am able to concieve? My thoughts are that the carrying of child would be very dangerous to my health. ******* , nervous breakdown etc.
And to the health of the of the child I am carrying, the medicines I know, due to past experiences, I would need to take. I have been under the care of a phsychiatrist for years now and she is aware of the dangers of me becoming pregnant again. So even though I am not infertile, would insurance companies cover IVF or something similar if there is a significant risk to mother or child in the actual carring a baby to full term. We have blue cross and blue shield of Illinos. Thanks for any and all help!

you would need to actually call the insurance company and ask them what your policy will cover.

i don’t know many insurance comanies that will pay for all of IVF.
