I’m heading for a nervous breakdown, what should i do?
Posted by greenFlag
I know i should seek professional help, but i’d much prefer locking myself in the house and stay in bed for many hours on end… both will ***** up my job, as we are heading right into the busy season, and i don’t think my insurance covers much with mental health. the world is falling apart around me and i want to just sit on the sidelines for a bit.
i should also metion i have a 7 year old son who is the light of my life and live with his mother who is the bane of my existence

look at your insurance and see
what it covers, then talk to your doctor,
or a phsychiatrist, and examine your options.
In the meantime, take a long
hot shower, read a good book,
write your thoughts down and
do some deep breathing, it may help.

Where I live, there is a Univeristy that offers free cousneling services performed by graduate students working on their Masters degree. If there is something like that in your city, maybe you can look into it if your insurance doesnt cover. Most interns do not charge a penny!
